This data may include but not limited to; medical history, medications, immunization dates, and diagnosis, and lab results. This work will give an overview of the progress of EMR in given hospitals for a different generation of nurses, as shown below.

The use of EMR has ended up altering operations for different generations. People with age brackets of 50-55 years are Generation X. Nurses belonging to this generation have realized the importance of EMR and focused on working with it by being skeptical and learning how to get to the execution of the system in all possible ways be it formal or informal. For the nurses with 30 to 40 years, they are classified as millennials. With the adoption of EMR, they have welcomed the idea due to their technological advantage they possess. This group has been able to grasp all the electronic processes facilitated by the internet. This has led to improved healthcare for patients because working and care are efficient. The nurses belonging to this group are sensitive when the system breaks down due to power outages, maintenance challenges, or lack of connection. In the case of the scenario, they slow down on their performance, which may hinder perfect results. The nurses have been confident in mastering the operations and seek online solutions to add to the knowledge of the EMR. It has been noted that the more they learn, the more they stay working for the hospitals. The last group of the early '20s is known as iGeneration nurses. They have competency with electronic systems that apply in hospitals. They are always in high vigor to prove they know much and can do better in hospital EMRs. This has contributed to high-end delivery in healthcare because systems used can multitask, and that is what the group want because they want to avoid the complexity of manual work at all cost. They have a notion that they deserve bigger remunerations from the hospitals because they do a lot for the institution, especially at any point, one has passed through medical studies. The nurses have super competency with EMR because of their growing environment where computer programs have ruled. The iGeneration defines the modern workplace and gives the future for healthcare. With the use of EMR, the group will advance their skills because everything can be gotten online as they work at their schedule and pace (Puryear, 2015).

From my point of view, EMR has transformed the activities in the nursing field, therefore, resulting in advanced care for patients. It is an efficient tool that requires everyone to buy into and know about it. I can anticipate a very booming rise in high-end medical attention.

How, when, and where to present the award for the best clinical unit compliance with the new EMR data entry requirements.

The adoption of EMR technology in the hospital setup has been received with mixed reactions on how to maintain the usage and possible measures to motivate hospital employees regarding the use of the latter. One of the best ways to motivate departments and divisions of health establishments is setting targets and aims to be achieved in a certain goal or duration. When the set issues are met, there is a need to award the units. The best way to present awards is always in line with anything to do with meeting the staff's physiological needs. It may be money, products, or recreation. Because nurses have busy schedules every day and night, the unit that has been spotted to utilize EMR to perfect their processes should be taken for a treat. This will reduce the monotony of the medical operations within the hospitals. Financial allowances may be incorporated during the arrangement. They can be outside the country or within. At least a week out can do better for the medical personnel. To avoid conflicts from the team leader or head of the departments, it should be planned to bring back something for the firm. This means a little benchmarking from other health institutions can be considered. Diversity in workplaces can be a challenge for this because of the difference in age, experience, and education system for individuals, therefore bringing generational differences. Everyone is doing that because of changes in the trends and fashions; just the EMR has changed and made efficiency in hospital processes. Because of new generational groups, it has to be done their way to satisfy them. Note it is also good to consider health talismans by showing the importance of the new changes. If they see the significance, then no battle will arise with the organizations offering health services (Meinert & Peterson, 2011).
